Shop Skills: Constantly Create Shows Off Its Hottest Designs
DJ Kinslow, owner of New York City area Constantly Create Shop, scaled his 4-year-old shop to his first million-dollar year in 2020, during a pandemic no less. Kinslow, who’s got a talented team of more than 20 artists and operators, serves a client base largely made up of new streetwear brands, along with musical artists or sports figures looking to launch merch lines.
“We start at the ground level with customers by creating a stand-out logo or artwork for their company or brand,” Kinslow says. “Then we wow them with our premium products and top-notch decorating skills.”
That’s why we asked Kinslow to share some of his team’s favorite embroidered and DTG logos and artwork that they’ve created for their customers. He hopes that sharing these designs will inspire other shop owners to expand their artwork and decorating horizons.
Take in everything that rocks about this DTG print: the fine detail in the artwork, the shading, the gradients and color vibrance. “This is a perfect example of DTG at its maximum ability,” Kinslow says. “This artwork is exactly what DTG is meant for.”
One of Constantly Create’s five original team members designed this 9-11 Tribute Shirt for streetwear brand YoPassThat. “We printed these and gave them out free with orders during the week of Sept. 11”.
Of course, New York-based Constantly Create would create a tribute to Queens, showcasing significant cultural locations in a collage format. “We posted this print on our Instagram feed and received tons of inquiries to make collages for other states, cities and towns”.
